The AML V12 Zagato arrives at the Nurburgring. We knew that the Aston Martin V12 Zagato – which recently took Vill d’Este by storm – was heading for the Nurburgring to stretch its muscles. It’s almost certain the production ready MINI Paceman will debut at Paris in September now MINI has released a set of lightly camouflaged photos. The MINI Paceman – which started as the Paceman, became the Countryman Coupe and is now back to being the Paceman – looks set to debut at the Paris Motor Show in September. As is MINI’s wont, they’re starting to ramp up a bit of PR for the 2-door Countryman Coupe by letting loose a few photos and letting a handful of ‘safe’ car journalist loose on a quick test.
Lewis Hamilton is leaving McLaren to drive for Mercedes – ousting Michael Schumacher – and Sergio Perez joins McLaren. It’s seemed likely for some time that Lewis Hamilton would leave McLaren for Mercedes, and this morning McLaren has confirmed that’s exactly what’s happening. The move to Mercedes for Hamilton takes him away from the team that has nurtured his talent from childhood and given him a life he could never have dreamed of.
